Lynmou Medical Secures Multi-Million Dollar Series A Funding to Advance Endoscopic Innovation
April 7, 2025
Hangzhou-based Lynmou Medical (灵眸医疗) has successfully closed its Series A funding round, raising tens of millions of RMB. The round was led by 9F Capital, with participation from Chengshu Fenghua and follow-on investment from existing shareholder Highland Capital. Yuewei Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor.
The fresh capital will accelerate the global commercialization of Lynmou’s endoscopic systems, expand academic partnerships, and enhance its flexible endoscopy product portfolio, reinforcing its position as a leading domestic brand in the field.
Breakthrough Product: Alioth Endoscopy System

Lynmou’s flagship Alioth series of electronic endoscopes, approved by China’s NMPA in May 2024, integrates fully electric transmission technology for superior clinical stability and reduced signal interference. The system introduces "Full-Scene Imaging", combining four advanced modes:
HLI (High-Light Imaging) – Enhances tissue contrast for precise observation.
SVI (Surface-Enhanced Imaging) – Improves early lesion detection.
TCI (Targeted Contrast Imaging) – Pinpoints diseased areas with accuracy.
DHI (Deep Hemoglobin Imaging, a China-first innovation) – Enables real-time bleeding detection and vascular mapping during surgery, addressing a critical gap in domestically produced endoscopes.
Additionally, the system features AI-assisted diagnostics, boosting surgical efficiency and safety.
Company Background
Founded in 2021, Lynmou Medical operates with an R&D center in Shenzhen and a manufacturing base in Hangzhou. Its founding team, averaging 10+ years of medtech experience, has driven China’s endoscope innovation from development to global commercialization.
In April-May 2024, Lynmou obtained approvals for its VC-1600 Full-Scene Imaging Endoscopy System (the first of its kind in China) and gastrointestinal endoscopes, followed by a Pre-A funding round. By July 2024, the company had completed its first commercial installation and established sales and service networks, marking a key transition from R&D to market execution.
With this funding, Lynmou aims to expand internationally while strengthening its foothold in China’s competitive endoscopy market.
