Cai Longsheng, R&D Head of the Structural Heart Disease Division at Genesis MedTech Group, delivered a keynote presentation titled "From No Global Solution to Global Leadership: How a China-Original Valve Conquered the World-Class Challenge of Aortic Regurgitation."

Focusing on aortic regurgitation, a clinical challenge that has long lacked mature interventional treatment solutions, he introduced the R&D journey and innovation concept of J-Valve. Addressing challenges such as the lack of calcified anchor points in regurgitation patients and the difficulty of stable fixation with traditional TAVI products, the team innovatively proposed a "bidirectional anchoring" design, achieving stable valve implantation through movable positioning keys, providing a new treatment option for aortic regurgitation patients. Currently, J-Valve has completed over 10,000 clinical applications and has established two technical routes — transapical and transfemoral — providing a new practical example for China-original high-end medical devices moving toward international markets.

Li Fang, R&D Head of Enlight Medical Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation titled "From Clinical Pain Points to Device Innovation: The Pragmatic Innovation of a Mitral Valve Clip."

Focusing on real clinical needs in mitral regurgitation interventional therapy, he shared the product development concept of Enlight Medical's mitral valve clip. Addressing clinical pain points such as unilateral leaflet detachment, long-term fatigue failure, slow endothelialization, and long learning curves, the team continuously optimized product performance from multiple dimensions including material selection, structural design, human-machine interaction, and catheter control, achieving clip weight reduction, stress reduction, and improved operational convenience. He stated that in the future, mitral valve repair technology will continue to evolve toward material innovation, precision control, and intelligent assistance, making complex surgeries more standardized, precise, and accessible.
